Aisha Ejaz, London Business Angels Network Manager

Aisha joined LBA in 2001 while completing her MBA Degree with a focus on Entrepreneurship at Huron University, USA in London. She also has a BA Degree in Finance from Richmond, The American International University in London.

She is responsible for Investor & SME Accounts, Relations & Memberships, Women in Business, Marketing & Events, selection of SMEs, and managing the LDA backed ready2invest programme for which she was also part of the founding team. In her spare time she is looking into how to increase the number of business angel investors across different communities.

Alison McGregor, Coach, Business writer & Speaker

Alison McGregor has worked in Financial Services for over 17 years, some of the time as a fee-based Financial Planner and some of it teaching and researching in Business Schools/Universities. This included teaching management programmes for undergraduates and postgraduates, and also professional examination courses for financial professionals, (including Independent Financial Advisers and accountants).

She secured research sponsorship from the Association of British Insurers, and has sat on a number of committees and educational boards.

Allison Edwards, National Make up Artist for IMAN Cosmetics Limited.

While sitting on the floor, painting the faces of children in a South London Day Nursery, a quiet storm of motivation began to build in Allison Edwards until this crescendo of desire moved her into the area of beauty.

Her career opened in the major cosmetic halls of the UK's leading department stores working with the leading Houses of Beauty such as Clinique, Estee Lauder, Flori Roberts, Fashion Fair and Latoya Jackson's Mahogany Image.

Angela Sarkis CBE, Management Consultant

A self employed Management Consultant who has extensive experience working with public and voluntary sector organisations. Angela’s contracts include: Strategic Adviser to the Council of Ethnic Minorities Voluntary Organisations; Teacher Workload Adviser to the Department for Education & Skills and consultant on community regeneration and change management to a range of faith organisations.

Prior to her present role, she was Chief Executive to the Church Urban Fund and Director to The Divert Trust. She has worked in the Probation Service and Family Services Units and has a great deal of knowledge in working with young people at risk and disadvantaged urban communities.

Angela Coley,

Angela Coley is a married mother of two children and started out her working life has a secretary for several high brow organisations primarily in the legal profession.Soon realising that there was more to her talents than this, she embarked on improving her qualifications by obtaining a B.Sc. (Hons) in Social Science and a MSc in Criminal Justice Policy from the prestigious London School of Economics.

Angela then began a part time teaching career before entering mentioning as a volunteer with SOVA, which she continues to do. She entered the Croydon Youth Justice system where she left her mark by designing and implementing an innovative programme specifically for young female offenders. This led Angela to work within the Society of Black Lawyers where she continues to be a member of their Criminal Justice and Human Rights sub Committee.

Anni Marjoram,

Anni Marjoram has campaigned for more representation of women in political and public life for nearly 20 years. For many years she was Head of Special needs in a boy's comprehensive school.

Recently she has worked for a member of the European Parliament and then ran a MPs office in the House of Commons. She is currently the Policy Adviser on women's issues to the Mayor of London Ken Livingstone
